@chetan_bhagat People in US have more ethics and greater sense of social awareness (exceptions are always everywhere) so the plan may be successful there (which I heard is already in process (?)).
@chetan_bhagat I won't say it's good or bad but definitely it can be one plan on which elite financial panelists can discuss upon. May be it's a great idea OR may have loopholes which can be used by opportunists.
@chetan_bhagat economy is fine. Best for 'all weather Gyanis' to do what they do best....write a new book, play cricket, act well, make good tea, etc. Spoiling the fisc (LT consequences) for a ST steroid boost will do more damage than good. Glad the govt not falling for the more stimulus Gang.
@chetan_bhagat Okay... So you are talking about RG's nyaay yojna..?
@chetan_bhagat Seems good on paper, one can't foresee the pitfalls at this juncture, but the thought is correct. Put money in people's hands and make them spend, spend, spend. Money like blood must circulate or else the economy withers and collapses.
@chetan_bhagat Indian politicians want to earn more and enjoy more perks than US UK politicians, but when it is time for them to deliver, they will tell you; "but you know, India is not the US, we cannot perform like US politicians
