Big news: @SenWarren & @katieporteroc are demanding we use the full power of the Defense Production Act to:
-Identify spare vaccine manufacturing capacity
-Share the vaccine recipe
-Enlist manufacturers to ramp-up production
This is how we combat vaccine production delays.
Please remember that corporations drawing the line at insurrection were fine with Trump calling Mexicans rapists, Charlottesville, “shithole countries”, kids in cages, gassing BLM protestors, and telling women of color in Congress to "go back” to the countries they came from.

President-elect Biden doesn’t need Congress to #CancelStudentDebt. He should take immediate executive action to help millions of struggling families, help close the racial wealth gap, and boost our economy.

Breaking: 2,000,000 people globally have died of COVID. The U.S. makes up roughly 20% of those deaths.
It never had to be like this.

EPA data released this week shows enforcement has plummeted to at least a 10-year low, probably longer.
It was already so low before the pandemic that the crisis caused only a relatively small step down in the steady decline.
We've got to end impunity for corporate polluters.
A whole lot of members of Congress are appalled right now by the direct consequences of their own actions.
After having no federal executions take place for 17 years, after tonight the Trump administration will have executed more than a dozen people in the final months of his term. It’s a killing-spree.

Sadly, much of the media and many members of the Washington establishment want to deceive Americans into thinking those who raised concerns incited violence, simply by voicing the concern. That’s false. And the allegation itself is corrosive and dangerous.

By 2023, almost 40 percent of all borrowers are expected to default on their loans. President-elect Biden has the power on DAY ONE to diffuse this ticking time bomb that continues to drag down a whole generation, slow growth, and worsen the racial-wealth gap.
Look at the process for closing an Amazon Prime account. It's egregious.
Why do we allow a company run by the richest man on the planet to manipulate people like this?

Don’t be quick to give corporate America credit for pausing political donations.
Companies have already donated $170 MILLION to lawmakers that rejected the election results.
As soon as this blows over, the donations will likely start flowing again.
For reference, there were 14,000+ arrests at the George Floyd protests.
