Humbled and honored to share that I'll be leading a new grantmaking organization—the Justice Accelerator Fund—to build transformative coalitions that accelerate change in #CriminalJusticeReform. Read my letter about why this work matters more than ever

Congrats @anarzamora! So excited to see the incredible impact this will have under your leadership!

Dear brilliant Reddit users, next can you figure out how to fix the student loan crisis?

My knowledge of the stock market is basically what I learned from Billions, so can someone explain the whole Game Stop/Reddit thing to me?

1/7 BREAKING: President Biden just signed an Executive Order, following through on a first step on his campaign promise to end the federal government’s use of private prisons. But impact is limited to only BOP contracts as they come up for renewal

Why is unpacking a suitcase SO HARD GO AWAY

Everything goes in the laundry regardless of whether you wore it or not. There ya go, that makes it simple.

I'm excited to share preliminary results of my independent study at @GeorgetownLaw—looking at how often judges grant early release to the incarcerated due to COVID-19 (so-called compassionate release).

More evidence that judges matter.

Hey @OfficialFBOP and USP Terre Haute, can you release my brother’s body #DustinHiggs so we can lay him to rest? It’s been 5 freaking days. Please be and Thank You! **tweet updated to tag the correct government office**

First they killed him, now the grieving family is having a hard time getting his body so they can bury him. Just disgusting. #endtheDeathPenalty

In the last four years Republicans: appointed 3 Supreme Court Justices, 54 Court of Appeals judges (1/3 of the appellate bench), and 230 total federal judges.

Democrats- can we PLEASE prioritize nominating & confirming judges this time? @acslaw

Before you read the headlines, read the full list. There are hundreds of years of lives saved by clemency on that list. Names the media will probably never say, but names everyone in the justice reform community have spent years fighting for & should be proud of.

Heard from family members of 4 more people who are coming home under the First Step Act compassionate release this weekend. I remember during the fight to pass it, @shonhopwood telling me that he thought this would be the most useful provision and it turns out he was correct.
